Transforming unused land into thriving educational farms, Bunny’s Flowers has been providing environmental and wellness education programs centered on regenerative agriculture and community development since its founding in Pennsylvania in 2020. Communities they serve face environmental challenges including urban pollution, soil degradation, climate change impacts, and limited access to green spaces and fresh produce. Through their two farms—one urban location in North Philadelphia and one rural site in Bucks County—this nonprofit addresses these risks by teaching sustainable farming practices, restoring damaged land through organic methods, and creating educational opportunities that build environmental awareness. These productive farms generate fresh produce while serving as outdoor classrooms where community members learn regenerative gardening techniques, plant propagation, and ecological restoration methods that help communities become more resilient to environmental threats.

Headquartered in Doylestown, Bunny’s Flowers operates entirely through dedicated volunteers who share a passion for community service and environmental stewardship. The group partners with diverse groups including Delaware Valley University, Girl Scouts of America, Crossfit Summa, Doylestown Hospital, and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit’s SEQUEL Program to deliver hands-on learning experiences. Programs have included home gardening courses teaching families plant propagation basics, environmental cleanup days with the Doylestown Lions Club, yoga classes at farm locations, and the “Dancing with the Flowers” pop-up program. They have achieved notable success in reaching over 1,000 students, establishing USDA-registered farms, and creating meaningful connections between people from different backgrounds including public school students, hospital patients, domestic violence survivors, and adults with disabilities, all while spreading awareness about social justice issues and building stronger, more sustainable communities.
From Buckingham to Philly, Bunny’s Flowers stands strong beneath the same sky. This double rainbow stretched from their Bucks County farm to their urban site in Kensington — a rare and quiet reminder that the work they do connects places, people, and hope. May 2025
